With Chip vs. Without Chip
This listing is the With Chip version. If your refrigerator's filter compartment does not use an RFID reader, our GE XWFE Without Chip filter is also available. Check your current filter or owner's manual if you're unsure which version your model needs.
Installation
- Press the release tab and remove the old filter.
- Insert the new XWFE filter into the housing and twist to lock.
- Flush 2–3 gallons of water before use.
- Replace every 6 months for best results.
